Rabindra Bharati University is a postgraduate university in India and it is settled at the Tagore family place, Jorasanko Thakur Bari. It was launched on 8th May 1962, under the Rabindra Bharati Act of the Government of West Bengal on 1961, to notice the birth centenary of the famous poet Rabindranath Tagore. The university has offered under-graduate ad post-graduate programs of Performing Arts in Faculty of Fine Arts, Visual Arts and under the Faculty with same name, Humanities, Social Sciences and other fields under the Faculty of Arts.
