University of Science and Technology of China

The University of Science and Technology of China or USTC was set up on 1958, is a most famous national research university in Hefei, Anhui, China. It introduction aim was to grow a high-level science and technology workforce, as deemed critical for growth of China's economy, defense, and science and technology educational activity. USTC has twelve schools, thirty departments. USTC was established the first graduate school in China on 1978. Total registration for spring 2016 is approximately 15,500 students, of whom 7,400 are undergrads, 6,200 are master’s scholars, and 1,900 are PhD scholars. USTC has 1,812 academics, of which 547 are professors.
