The Beijing University of Posts
and Telecommunications (BUPT) was set up on 1955, is a famous university right
away under the administration of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and co-built
by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). It is one of the
part first “Project 211” universities and “Project 985 Innovation Platform for
Superior Discipline”. It provides thirty-six undergraduate programs, nine PhD
programs, twenty-three master programs and five post-doctoral programs. The employment
rate of BUPT postgrads and undergrads reaches is hundred percent and ninety-nine
percent respectively. Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications has fourteen
teaching units, three research institutes and 1 graduate school.
