Huazhong Agricultural University
or Central China Agricultural University or HZAU or HAU was set up on 1898 as
Hubei Farming School (HFS). Its name changed name to HAU in 1985. It has a
history of above hundred years. It is a national key university of “Project 211”
right away under the Ministry of Education. It has eighteen colleges and
departments. HZAU has instituted exchange and cooperation relationships with
over one hundred fifty institutions of forty countries and regions. HZAU has
offered programs field of study in agriculture, sciences, engineering, arts,
law, economics, and management. It has provided fifty undergraduate
specialties, eighty-seven master's specialties, ten first category doctoral
disciplines, ten post-doctoral research stations and fifty-four doctoral
specialties. It has eight national key disciplines, one national priority
discipline and thirty-six ministerial / provincial key disciplines.
