Sri Venkateswara University

Sri Venkateswara University or S. V. University or SVU was launched in 1954. It is a most famous state university in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. The university is called after Lord Venkateswara whose shrine is settled in the city. It has got a NAAC rating of "A" with a score of 3.13 out of 4. It is the 2nd most former university in Andhra Pradesh, after Andhra University. Sri Venkateswara University Library, began in 1955 to serve the needs of the scholars, researchers and teachers of the university colleges, has a membership of 6397. The library offers services such as contributing of books, reference and bibliographic service, reprographic service.
