South Gujarat University

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University was launched on 1965, is a famous public university settled in the city of Surat, Gujarat, India. At one time known as South Gujarat University, it was called in 2004 in honour of the famous student and Gujarati poet Narmad. The University granted B++ by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council in 2004 and re-recognized 'B' with 2.82 CGPA in 2011. It has recognized through the University Grants Commission in 1968. The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University has two hundred eighty-two college affiliations as per year 2013-2014. South Gujarat University has provided UG, PG and PhD degree programmes various fields.
