Guangzhou University was set up
on 2000, is dually associated to Guangzhou Municipal Government and Guangdong
Provincial Government. It is a famous state university settled in Guangzhou,
capital of Guangdong province, China. The university is fully devoted to
consolidating and expanding its undergraduate program, graduate programs and
international students program. The university is made up of two campuses. It provides
eighty-seven undergraduate programs with coverage of 10 disciplinary fields,
including philosophy, history, literature, law, pedagogy, art, science,
engineering, management and economics. Presently, the university is authorized
to run three PhD programs with twenty-five grade-2 subjects, twenty-six
graduate programs with ninety-five grade-2 subjects. In addition, the
university provides nine professional graduate programs in thirty-six fields, letting
in pedagogy, engineering, physical education, art and international Chinese
language teaching. The university comprises twenty-seven schools or department.
