East China University of Science
and Technology or ECUST was set up on 1952, is a famous research university settled
in Shanghai, China. As a member of Project 211, ECUST relish a high allocation
of funds and is dependent to the Ministry of Education. It is particularly famous
for its Chemical Engineering department, which is ranked among the best hundred
worldwide. The university provides thirteen first level and eighty-one second
level doctoral programs, twenty-five first level and hundred forty-seven second
level master programs and sixty-five undergraduate programs. There are 7
national key subjects and ten Shanghai key subjects among the ECUST academic
units. The Library of East China University of Science & Technology (ECUST)
was instituted in 1952 and is placed under direct auspice of the Ministry of
Education of People’s Republic of China.
