Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur was launched on 1964, is one of the Chhattisgarh's biggest and most former institution of higher education. It is called after Pt. Ravishankar Shukla, the 1st chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. The university has developed enormously over the last forty-four years in terms of number of scholars as well as disciplines namely humanities, education, pharmacy, natural science, law, management, physical education, library science and computer science etcetera in twenty-eight schools and 261 associated colleges spread over eleven districts of Chhattisgarh. There are 5000 students enrolled for variety of courses provided by the departments.
