Osmania University

Osmania University was launched on 1918, is a non-profit public state university settled in Hyderabad, India. It is the third most former university in southern India, and the first to be launched in the erstwhile princely State of Hyderabad. The university has a campus of almost 1600 acres. It is specially known for its faculty of Arts, Sciences, Commerce, Engineering and Technology, Law and Management departments. Osmania University is an alliance of University Colleges, Constituent Colleges, and associated colleges. The associated colleges of the university are spread in Hyderabad district and provide respective undergraduate and post-graduate courses. It has importantly contributed to the academic and economic growth of not only the region but also of the Nation.
