Karnataka State Women's
University was founded in 2003 in the city of Vijayapur is the only Women's
University in Karnataka committed exclusively for women's education. It is accepted
under DEC for Distance Education across India and abroad. It also provides twenty
P G Courses, P G Diploma and Certificate Courses in the Faculties of Arts,
Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Social Sciences and Education.
The University provides respective U G programmes leading to Bachelor's degree
in Arts, Business Administration, Commerce, Science and Social Work , Education,
Computer Applications, Fashion Technology, Home Science, Physical Education.
