The Dravidian University, Kuppam,
Chittoor territory, Andhra Pradesh, India was founded on 1997 through the
Government of Andhra Pradesh, by a Legislature Act. The university, which officially
came into existence in 1997, started functioning with 2 departments in 1998 and
has today grown into a strong institution of twenty academic departments and six
research centers. It objective is to encourage national integrating and the
integrated development of the human personalities by its policies and
programmes.
