Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar
University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan or Dr. Y.S.Parmar University of
Horticulture & Forestry was founded on first December 1985. The aim is to encourage
education, research and extension education in the fields of Horticulture,
Forestry and allied disciplines. The University is settled at Nauni in Solan Zone
of Himachal Pradesh, thirteen kilometer from Solan on Solan-Rajgarh Road, at an
elevation of 1300 meters above mean sea level. This is a residential University
and all the scholars are involved to reside in the hostels, unless otherwise
permitted. It offered following degree course by college.
