Haldia Institute of Technology

Haldia Institute of Technology or HIT was set up on 1996, is the 1^st private started engineering institute in West Bengal, India. It has associated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and approved by All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi. It main aims of creating highly trained professional manpower in respective disciplines of Engineering, Technology & Social Science. It has offered Classify Hostel facility for boys and girls. There are eleven Boys’ hostels and three Girls’ hostels for UG and PG scholars. HIT has offered twelve B.Tech courses, and five M.Tech and MCA, Master in Business Administration courses various fields of study.
