Hindustan Aeronautics Limited or
HAL was set up on 1940 as Hindustan Aircraft then renamed Hindustan Aeronautics
Limited (HAL) on 1964. It headquarters is located in Bangalore, Karnataka,
India. It is
controlled under the organization of the Indian Ministry of Defence. It has set
up several facilities spread across India. HAL main aim is involved in the
procedures of the aerospace industry. HAL built the 1st military
aircraft in South Asia and now required in the design, jet engines, fabrication
and assembly of aircraft, helicopters and their spare parts. It is one of the
biggest aerospace companies in Asia. It has International agreements US$35
billion 5th-generation fighter jet programme with the Sukhoi Corporation of
Russia and US$1 billion contract to manufacture aircraft parts for Boeing with
more in many nation . Aircraft Research and Design Centre or ARDC has thirteen made
aircraft Designs to its credit, ranging from basic piston Trainers to the
frontline combat aircraft (HPT-32, PUSPAK, HTT-34, MARUT, KIRAN MK-1, KIRAN
MK-II, BASANTH, HT-2, AJEET, KRISHAK, AJEET TRAINER, LCA and IJT).
