Izhevsk State Technical
University or Kalashnikov ISTU was set up on 1952, is a most famous leading
higher educational institution in the neighborhood. It is one of the oldest
technical schools in Russia. It is settled in picturesque outskirts of Izhvesk
near the park and forestry region. Now
ISTU comprises eleven faculties and one institute. It is eight educational
buildings, six scholars’ hostels, health center, stadium, palace of culture, polyclinic,
swimming pool, etc. Kalashnikov ISTU was among three hundred best universities
of BRICS nations and took 201+ status. It university has offered degree programs
in following faculties. Presently Kalashnikov ISTU educates over twenty thousand
scholars, among them more than one hundred international scholars.
