Tianjin Medical University

Tianjin Medical University or TMU was set up on 1951, is a 1^st medical institution authorized through the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The university was recognized into Project 211, becoming one of the ninety-seven key institutions (9 medical institutions) given growth priority by the State. The University has six university hospitals (associated hospitals), eleven clinical colleges, and over thirty teaching hospitals. The university was authorized by the Academic Degree Committee of State Council to confer the Doctorate Degree, Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree. TMU lets in 8 departments involved in fifteen specialties. The University has a number of State-level Key Fields of study and Local-level Key Fields of study. The University has 9 Research Institutions, 1 Key Laboratory of Ministry of Health and nine Clinical Pharmacology Center of Ministry of Health.
