South China Agricultural
University or SCAU was set up on 1909, is a famous public university in
Guangzhou, China. It Agricultural University is a “211 Project” university shopped
by both Guangdong Province and the Ministry of Agriculture during the ninth and
tenth “Five-year Plan”. It has six national key fields of study (1 under
construction), five key fields of study of the Ministry of Agriculture, twelve
Guangdong provincial key primary fields of study, four provincial key secondary
disciplines and one key field of the State Bureau of Forestry. The university
has eighty-eight undergraduate programs, twelve primary disciplines authorized
to confer doctorate degrees, twenty-three primary fields of study to confer
master's degrees, forty-five doctorate programs and hundred seventeen master
degree programs.
