East China University of
Political Science and Law or ECUPL was set up on 1952, is a most significant
public university in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. ECUPL is one of the
few teaching institutions in China specializing in legal education. At present
it has campuses two districts located in Changning and Songjiang. The
university has 4 journals named Studies of Crime, Law, and Issues of Juvenile
delinquency. Now, it has offered 4 LLD programs fields of study in legal
historiography, economic jurisprudence, criminal jurisprudence, and international law,
and 9 LLM programs of law fields of study in theories of law, constitutional
jurisprudence, legal historiography, and administrative jurisprudence, criminal
jurisprudence, procedural law, civil and commercial jurisprudence, economic
jurisprudence, international jurisprudence, environment and resources
protection jurisprudence and one LLM program of professional law and on-the-job
scholars are accepted to pursue doctor and master's degrees. ECUPL has offered twenty-two
majors for bachelors.
