Uttar Banga Krishi
Vishwavidyalaya or North Bengal Agricultural University was founded on 1st
February 2001. It university was instituted through West Bengal Act XX of 2000.
It is an agricultural university in Pundibari almost fifteen kilometer
northwest of Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. It has offered faculties of
horticulture, agriculture and agricultural engineering. A new Technology
faculty has set up being with due certification by All India Council of
Technical Education (AICTE) from 2005-2006 academic session for providing four
years B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering with annual intake of fifteen scholars.
