Satavahana University was founded
on 2008 through the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India vide G.O.Ms.No.89
Higher Education (UE.II) Department, Dated: 25-06-2008. The primary campus is settled
in a beautiful and sprawling two hundred acres of forest-like-campus right in
Karimnagar city. The University began affiliating undergraduate and
postgraduate colleges of Karimnagar district in the year 2010. Currently there
are 191 colleges associated to Satavahana University offering respective UG, PG
and Professional courses. It has providing twenty-two PG, three Professional UG
courses and combinations in several UG courses (BA, B.Com. and B.Sc.) in its
constituent and associated colleges. The University Constituent Colleges are currently
providing the Programmes such as B.Pharmacy, M.A. (English, Sociology, Economics,
Telugu and Urdu), Master in Business Administration, M.Com and M.Sc. (Chemistry,
Computer Science, Botany, Instrumentation Physics and Mathematics Food Science
& Technology,).
