National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Kaloor

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) was founded on 2005. It is an important university in Kochi, India for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate legal education. The University has 13 centres for field of study and research. NUALS offered an LL.M. programme in International Trade Law and in Constitutional and Administrative Law and Ph.D. programme, in accordance with the guidelines set through the University Grants Commission. The Bar Council of India has recommended thirty-eight subjects for the five-year LLB course. NUALS was launched to advance and disseminate studying and knowledge of law and legal processes, to grow scholarship and a sense of responsibility towards society and to encourage legal and judicial reforms to strengthen the administration of justice in India.
