Marathwada Agricultural
University or MAU was launched in 1972, is one of 4 Agricultural Universities
in the State of Maharashtra. It is committed with the responsibilities to pro-
vide educational activity in agriculture and allied fields, undertake research
and facilitate technology transfer in Marathwada region of Maharashtra. It objective
supply research base to improve the productivity of significant
agri-horticulture, fisheries, livestock, and agri-allied activities of
Marathwada region. It has also offer the necessary production support of
nucleus, breeders and foundation seed of significant crops of the area and also
generate revenue by large farms for sustainable development of the University.
