Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University was founded under the provisions of the Bihar State Universities Act. 1976 (as amended by Bihar Act.9, 1992) with effect from ten April 1998 (vide MHRD, Govt. of Bihar notification no. 1998 dated twenty-two Nov 2006). The University is recruited as a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi with effect from December 2009. It aims to offer dissemination of research, knowledge and consultancy in all fields of learning. It delegacy is to take in charge Research and consultancy to enrich educational activity learning program.
