Magadh University

Magadh University was founded in 1962, is located Patna, in Bihar state, India. It is accredited through the University Grants Commission (UGC). It began functioning from 2 March 1962 with 2 constituent colleges, 32 associated colleges and 7 postgraduate departments. Now there are forty-four constituent and 105 associated colleges under this University. The character of teaching, discipline and secular atmosphere attract foreign scholars every year which has provided a global halo to the University. It provides hostel facilities to all scholars in nine hostels. In almost every faculty state and National Level Seminars are coordinated regularly.
