Kannur University

Kannur University was launched on 1996 to offer development of educational activity in Kasaragod, Kannur, and Wayanad zones of Kerala, India. The aim of the Kannur University Act, 1996 was to establish in the state of Kerala a teaching, residential and associating university to offer for the development of educational activity in Kasargod and Kannur revenue Zones and the Mananthavady Taluk of Wayanad District.
