Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University

Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University or BRAOU was founded on 1982, it is formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open University. It is settled in the city of Hyderabad. Open University system is flexible in terms of admission, choice of Programs, duration and age requirements, teaching methods and evaluation procedures. The University has a go at it special focus on socially disadvantaged and geographically isolated people who never had access to teaching earlier. Thus it provides an alternative channel to those who missed the chances for higher education.
