Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra was Gave on 1927, formerly Agra University. It is one of the most former institutions in Uttar Pradesh. The University was called as Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University in 1996. The University at present caters to the educational need of the 7 districts of Agra. At present university has approx two hundred associated colleges and fifteen residential Institutes spread out in its four residential campus.
