Indian Institute of Management Bangalore or IIMB was founded in 1973, is a public business school settled in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The institute was begun in St. Joseph's College of Commerce, and other buildings, which were rented. It provides Post Graduate, Doctoral and executive training programmes. IIMB has been accepted as the number one business school in Central Asia for the 4th successive year by Eduniversal Rankings. It is one of the only 2 business schools in India to be awarded 5 palmes. It consists of sixteen hostel blocks besides one executive block and the executive accommodation.
