IIT Roorkee

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (usually known as IIT Roorkee or IITR) was established in 1847 in Roorkee. IIT Roorkee provides academic programmes in Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, and Management. It runs eleven undergraduate (UG), 5 integrated dual degree, three integrated M.Tech., three integrated M.Sc., 60 one postgraduate (PG) and several doctoral programmes. It Admission to B.Tech., B.Arch. and integrated M.Tech./M.Sc. courses by the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and GATE conducted at centers all over India. IIT Roorkee is one of the largest technical institutions in the nation.
