Dr BR Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar

The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar famous known as Dr BR Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar was founded in 1987. It offered UG, PG and PhD   courses. The admission are based on Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) conducted across India and Admissions to the MTech programs are through the GATE exam conducted through the IITs and IISc. There are seven boys' hostels, two girls' hostels and a mega girls' hostel. NIT Jalandhar has been rated as the forty-second best Engineering College of India in the Edu-Rand Rankings of 2015. The students of Dr BR Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar are drawn from all parts of the country.
