Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi

Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi (BIT MESRA) is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed University under Section iii of the UGC Act. It was founded in the year 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand. Yearly scholars are admitted strictly on Merit Based assessed by all India rank (AIR) in JEE-Main-CSAB and AIPMT for its UG courses. BIT was the 1st institute in India to launch a department of space engineering and rocketry, in 1964.
