Bengal Engineering & Science University

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur or Bengal Engineering & Science University was organization of Calcutta University on 24 January 1857. The college was associated to this university in 1857.  The various departments of the college were reorganized on the recommendation of the 'Mukherjee Committee' below the Chairmanship of Sir R.N. Mukherjee. If has offered A new degree course in Computer Science & Technology was began and with modernization of the facilities in 1982.
