OAS Exam divides into three parts first Preliminary Examination, second Main Examination and third Personality Test or Interview. Preliminary Test –

Paper – 1^st General Studies (150 Marks)

Paper – 2^nd One subject to be selected from the following Optional Subjects (300 Marks)

Paper – 1^st Oriya Language (300 Marks)

Paper – 2^nd English (300 Marks)

Paper – 3^rd English Essay (200 Marks)

Paper – 4^th General Studies-I (300 Marks)

Paper – 5^th General Studies-II (300 Marks)

Paper – 6^th, 7^th, 8^th & 9^th any two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects set out below. Each subject will have two papers – 300 Marks for each paper
