Nalanda Open University Patna Bihar is the only university in Bihar offering education through with distance & open education and it was set up on 1987. It has twenty-eight fields of study centers around Bihar in cities as Jamshedpur and Ranchi & in small towns as Katihar and Bettiah, providing to the educational activity needs of every section of the society. It has offered undergraduate, post graduated & diploma programs in various fields, it also provides a four-week certification programme in Home Usages of Computers.
