Magadh University

Magadh University was founded in 1962, is a postgraduate university in the state of Bihar, India. It is accredited through the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is now controlled through Bihar State University Act 1976. The university offers facilities for higher studying and research in the faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce. The university has grown into a vast institution having twenty-four postgraduate departments, forty-four component colleges, and eighty-five associated colleges imparting educational activity in Humanities, Social Science, Science, Commerce, Medical, Engineering & Management. Various professional/vocational courses like Master in Business Administration., M.C.A., B.C.A., BBM Environmental Science, Tourism & Travel Management, Counseling & Rehabilitation, Journalism & Mass Communication, etc. are being run in constituent/affiliated colleges.
