The
University of Kalyani was established on first Nov 1960, is settled in Kalyani,
West Bengal, India. It is a most popular public university. The university is placed
in an urban placing reaching the boundaries of some green rural regions. This
university is providing academic guidance and leadership to 44 associated
colleges. University of Kalyani has been granted A grade (CGPA 3.12) by the
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on 2016. It provides

Admission Eligibility
Candidates standing for to join
Ph.D. programme of the University, admitting those who are exempted from coming
out in the entrance test- must obtain 55% marks {with relaxation of 5% marks
for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently abled} in the Master degree/ passing
degree mentioned in this Regulations, and shall apply to the University in the
appointed Form.
