University of Canterbury

University of Canterbury or UC was set up on 1873, is a most famous public university. It is located in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. It is a second oldest university in New Zealand. There are 3 major global university rankings. The University has a primary campus of seventy-six hectares (190 acres) at Ilam. It has the most field stations of any New Zealand University. There are 4 libraries on campus each covering different fields of study. It was the first NZ University to receive five Stars ranking in 2011 through the international ranking agency QS and has maintained its five Stars status since then. UC has a diverse range of study alternatives providing over one hundred qualifications in more than eighty different fields of study. It university offers Bachelor's degrees, Undergraduate certificates and diplomas, Graduate certificates and diplomas, Postgraduate certificates and diplomas, Honours degrees, Master's degrees, PhDs and Doctoral degrees, and Certificate of Proficiency various fields of study.
