Australian Defence Force Academy

The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) was set up on 1986, and it is an academy that offers military and tertiary academic education for junior officers. It is settled in the suburb of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Campbell, near the Australian government territory of Russell. There are also fifteen hundred postgraduate scholars studying at ADFA. The military training and university education they take in charge will ensure they possess the knowledge, accomplishments, professional abilities and qualities of character appropriate to officers in the ADF. It provides chances for advanced studying and postgraduate study by the Capability and Technology Management College, the Defence Force Chaplains’ College, and the University of New South Wales, all settled in the ADFA precinct.
