Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was set up on 4 November 1975 is an Indian administration to recruit staff for respective posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. Central office Staff Selection Commission has its head quarters settled at New Delhi. Now it has seven Regional offices at Allahabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore Mumbai, Guwahati, and two Sub- Regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
