Northwestern Polytechnical University

Northwestern Polytechnical University or NPU or NWPU was set up on 1938, is settled in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The University is also a member of Project 211. The now NPU delights the legacy from its three major predecessors. NPU has an inviolable research capacity in engineering. NPU was listed as one of the fifteen National Key Developing Universities. The university provides fifty-eight undergraduate programs, hundred seventeen master programs, sixty-seven doctorate programs and fourteen postdoctoral programs. Presently there are two First-level National Key Disciplines, seven Second-level National Key Disciplines, two National Key (to cultivate) Fields of study, twenty-one First-level Disciplines for Doctorate Degree Granting and thirty-one First-level Disciplines for master's degree Granting.
