Nanjing Normal University was set
up on 1902, is now placed as one of the top five normal universities in China.
It became a comprehensive famous university well known for the educational and
scientific research. It was admitted in the 211 Project. The International
Research and Training Centre for Rural Education are associated with the
university's Education Faculty. There are twenty-five colleges and schools in
the university those provide hundred forty-six doctoral programs, two hundred
forty-six master's degree programs and eighty undergraduate's programmes. The
university itself at present consists of twenty-four varied faculties and
another two independent ones, including Zhongbei Institute and Taizhou
Institute.
