Nanjing Forestry University NFU
or NJFU was set up on 1952 as a Nanjing Forestry College, is an institution of
higher studying in Nanjing, China. It is
settled in the east of Nanjing, at the foot of Purple Mountain and east of
Xuanwu Lake, is a famous comprehensive university administrated directly by
Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. Now, NFU has sixty Departments in twenty-two
Colleges of Forest Resources and Environment. NFU has provided fifty-nine
undergraduate programs, ninety master degree programs, twenty-three
professional master degree programs, thirty-six doctorate programs. There are six
national key fields of study of Ecology, Wood Science and Technology, Chemical
Processing Engineering of Forest Products, Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, Forest
Protection and Forest Engineering together with another eleven ministerial and
provincial key fields of study.
