Guangxi University for
Nationalities was set up on 1952, as a named Guangxi Institute. It the stage
name Guangxi University for Nationalities was authoritative by Ministry of
Education of China on 14th in April of 2006. It university are sixteen colleges
with fifty undergraduate majors, and there are two first-level fields of study
and forty second-level disciplines authoritative to grant Master’s Degree. In
addition, the university has one undergraduate education centre of national
level, one talents training centre of provincial level, two primary research
centre of humanities and social science and one key lab, also at the provincial
level. Now in the university, there are 722 postgrad scholars, 12,281 undergrad
scholars, 1,218 junior college scholars, 10,235 correspondence college scholars,
1,010 scholars in preparatory course and 379 international scholars.
