Harbin University of Science and
Technology or HUST was set up on 1950, is after sixty years of growth, this
university has become a teaching-research university. HUST was granted through
the Ministry of Education as an excellent university in undergraduate teaching
evaluation. It university centering on specialties of engineering and a
combination of engineering and science, with coordinated growth of the fields
of study in philosophy, economics, literature, management, laws and education.
It university providing fifty-nine bachelor degree programs, twenty-one
doctorate authorization second-rate disciplines; twenty-one master degree
authorization first-rate disciplines; eighty-nine master degree authorization
second-rate disciplines. HUST has won one hundred thirty-seven awards, among
which eighty-one were of provincial level. HUST actively encourages international
cooperation and academic exchanges.
