China Women's University

China Women's University was set up on 1949, is the beginning and the only state-owned women’s university, associated with All-China Women’s Federation. Sixty thousand graduates are working in respective fields, and make tremendous contributions to the economic and social growth in China. China Women's University has affiliated large importance to research and social services, working a leading role in research fields such as gender studies, gender equality, women’s rights and interest’s protection, women’s leadership etc. The Ministry of Education sanctioned its transformation to a full time institution of higher learning providing bachelor degrees. CWU objectives to inculcate its scholars with such values as Self-esteem, Self-confidence, Self-support and Self-improvement, and prepare its graduates toward an all-around growth in morality, sports, news, aesthetics and labor, enabling them to flourish in various social surroundings.
