China University of Geosciences,
Beijing was set up on 1952, is
a part of key national university direct under the organization of the
Education Ministry of the People's Republic of China. Presently, the university
consists of forty-seven undergraduate programs spread out in eleven schools.
There are still five state
key fields of study, eleven provincial key disciplines, 65 master's degree
awarding points, thirty doctor's degree awarding points and three post-doctoral
moveable research centers. It is among the 1st thirty-three universities that
were authoritative to found graduate schools. China University of Geosciences (Beijing) primarily
focuses on developing high-rank earth science personnel and on achieving
high-level fruits of scientific research in its function-oriented niche. It
consists of 2 campuses, one is settled in Haidian District in Beijing, and the
second one is settled in Wuhan, the capital of Central China's Hubei Province.
