Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University or TNPESU was launched on15 September 2005, is a famous university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is the beginning exclusively for Physical Education University in India. YMCA College of physical education adds up under this university. Now the University has 3 Faculties, 5 Departments and ten associated Colleges. Further the University now provides select Physical Education and Allied Courses, done collaborative programme and Distance Education stream also.
