Ravenshaw University was established
as Ravenshaw College in 1868, is a co-educational state university located in
Cuttack, Odisha. The institution turned a university in 2006. It has position through
UGC and 'A' grade by NAAC. It is one of the most former educational institutes
in the country. Ravenshaw University has 9 degree-granting schools and they provide
undergraduate programs in management, electronics and telecommunication, science,
arts, commerce, computer science, hospitality and hotel management and
information technology; graduate programs in science, arts, commerce,
management (Master in Business Administration) and computer application (MCA);
and master of philosophy and doctoral degree programs in science, arts and
commerce. The university has 33 academic departments and a scholar enrollment of
nearly 8,000.
