Ranchi University

Ranchi University was founded on 12 July 1960, is a famous university in Jharkhand state of India. Now, the University bridges 5 districts in Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega and Lohardaga. The university has a full scholar intake of around 90,000 scholars from its associated colleges. There are a tally of two male hostels and 4 female hostels in the university campus located at Kutchery Road, Ranchi. Now the University has twenty-three post graduate departments, fifteen constituent colleges, and forty-nine associated colleges, imparting teaching in law, engineering, business management, medicine, psychiatry, education, and general courses. It has twenty affiliated college spread over a field of 65,000 square km. Ranchi University also provides post graduate degree Self Financing/Vocational courses in L.L.M., Master in Business Administration., M.C.A., M.Sc in Electronics & Communication, P.G Diploma in Medicinal Plant & P.G. Diploma in Plant Bio- Technology.
